Depois do Latin American Music Awards, é a vez da “versão” norte-americana premiar os artistas favoritos. Marcado para dia 24 de novembro, em Los Angeles, os nomeados foram anunciados nessa quinta-feira (24).

O foco da premiação são os artistas norte-americanos, com Post Malone liderando o número de nomeações (sete no total), e Ariana Grande e Billie Eilish em seguida, com seis cada. A premiação também tem categorias específicas, como Melhor Artista Latino. Apenas três foram indicados: J Balvin, Bad Bunny e Ozuna. Sobre artistas que são americanos e latinos ou com raízes latinas, temos a música Señorita, de Shawn Mendes e Camila Cabello, indicada na categoria de Colaboração do Ano. Cardi B, de família dominicana, é a única rapper feminina indicada na categoria de Artista Favorito – Rap/Hip-Hop, onde concorre com Drake e Post Malone.
