A gente ama essa temporada de premiações! Depois do Premios Juventud, evento que celebra exclusivamente os artistas latinos, é hora de ter o momento de brilho em uma das premiações norte-americanas mais aguardadas por todo fã de cultura pop. A organização do Video Music Awards liberou nesta terça-feira (23) a lista de todos os nomeados da sua próxima edição, que acontece no dia 26 de agosto em Nova Jersey (EUA).
Além da categoria exclusivamente latina, onde Karol G & Anuel AA, Maluma, Daddy Yankee e mais aparecem, Rosalía concorre com grandes novos nomes da música atual. A cantora foi indicada em Artista Revelação e compete o prêmio com Billie Elish, H.E.R, Lil Nas X, Lizzo e Ava Max – nomes que bombaram nos últimos tempos. Com Con Altura, concorre com Melhor Música Latina junto com J Balvin e seu parceiro produtor El Guincho.
J Balvin também aparece em Melhor Single Dance, com sua colaboração em Say My Name, de David Guetta e Bebe Rexha. A canção concorre com Taki Taki, um dos grandes hits latinos depois de Despacito, de DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, Ozuna e Cardi B. Entretanto, o J Balvin e Selena Gomez também podem ganhar um prêmio conjunto: em Melhor Música Latina, com i can’t get enough.
A rapper domincana-americana Cardi B também aparece bastante na lista – com hits latinos, pops e raps próprios. Camila Cabello também está presente, graças a sua parceria com Shawn Mendes em Señorita (que ainda esperamos uma versão em espanhol), que concorre em categorias como Melhor Colaboração e Melhor Coreografia.
