Finalmente chegou o dia do Video Music Awards 2019! Uma das premiações mais queridas e aguardadas pelo público pop, o VMA acontece hoje (26), pela primeira vez no estado de Nova Jersey. O host da noite não é lá muito conhecido pelo público brasileiro ou mesmo latino no geral. Sebastian Maniscalco é um ator e comediante americano bem conhecido pelo público lá dos EUA. Mas, antes da premiação, rola o tapete vermelho que também entra na lista dos momentos mais esperados, é claro.
Os momentos latinos mais icônicos na história do VMA
Que horas começa?
O red carpet tem início marcado para às 20h e será exibido pela MTV Brasil. Não tem como assistir? Fica de olho nas nossas redes sociais para curtir os acontecimentos latinos! Durante o tapete vermelho, aliás, já tem presença latina. CNCO se apresentará no pré-show!
O que vai rolar de bom (latino e não latino)?
A premiação é conhecida por ser uma das mais icônicas e sempre tem algum momento que vira história na cultura pop. Abaixo, as performances em possível ordem de apresentação:
- Taylor Swift, que acabou de lançar seu disco Lover, abrirá a premiação;
- Lil Nas X, que substituiu Despacito como música que passou mais tempo no topo da Billboard, apresentará seu sucesso Old Town Road;
- Missy Elliott será a grande homenageada da noite e, como JLo no ano passado, fará um medley de seus sucessos antes de receber o prêmio Vanguarda;
- Miley Cyrus cantará Slide Away, single para o ex-marido Liam Hemsworth, pela primeira vez ao vivo;
- Jonas Brothers fará seu comeback na premiação depois de 11 anos; os irmãos vão apresentar o novo single Only Human
- Lizzo, um dos nomes promissores da música e que aparece em indicações como Artista Revelação, deve apresentar o hit Juice;
- Normani sobe ao palco do VMA pela primeira vez como artista solo para apresentar o single Motivation
- Camila Cabello e Shawn Mendes dão continuação às performances com Señorita pela primeira vez ao vivo;
- Bad Bunny e J Balvin farão sua estreia no palco do VMA com Qué Pretendes, faixa presente no álbum conjunto Oasis;
- Ozuna dá continuidade a latinidade do evento – não se sabe, ainda, qual música será apresentada;
- Rosalía finaliza a sessão “latina” da premiação – a aposta é que ela e Ozuna apresentem, também pela primeira vez, o single Yo x Ti, Tu x Mi;
- Big Sean e A$AP Ferg farão a estreia da parceria inédita
- H.E.R fará a penúltima performance da noite;
- Fetty Wap, Naughty By Nature, Queen Latifah, Redman e Wyclef Jean prometem fazer um encerramento “diferente de qualquer outro”, segundo a própria premiação;
